New Councillor
The Parish Council was very pleased to welcome Mr Jon Morrision as a member of the Council. Jon was co-opted to the Council following the resignation of Mrs Mandy Hall.

Footpath Work
Footpath improvements have been agreed by the Parish Council which should reduce the muddy section at the end of the Silver Jubilee Walk and provide a stepped access into the paths in “Flag Field” at the rear of The Dolphin.

Airfield Development Plans
All parishioners should have received a letter concerning the proposed airfield development exhibition in the Villages hall on 16th November. The Parish Council will be meeting immediately following the exhibition to discuss the proposals with other local Parish Councils and to formulate its own response to the document.

Canadian Airman Memorial
Some time ago, a suggestion was put forward for a memorial to the Canadian Airman who lost their lives flying out of Throckmorton Airfield in the 1939-45 war. Throckmorton councillors will be looking at suitable proposals for a memorial and would welcome input from anyone who feels they have some useful ideas to contribute.

Archiving Parish Records
The Parish Council has recently conducted a significant clear-out of old material from its files in an attempt to reduce the two four drawer cabinets to something more manageable. However, recognising that some of the archived material was irreplaceable and may have some historical significance, a couple of boxes of old minutes, correspondence relating to local developments etc. have been archived in the Worcester Records Office.

Christmas Refuse Collection Dates
The Christmas waste collection dates for the area are as follows. The collection for Christmas Day will be two days early but collections will then run one day late until January 8 when they will return to normal.
